Meeting Malaysia's Masterchef

The winner of Malaysia's inaugural Masterchef contest is the younger sister of a childhood friend of mine. Sekelas all throughout primary school. My parents knew her parents. Family frienda back in Muar.

I remembered the would-be Masterchef as just a little girl :)

Was invited to her kenduri kesyukuran last weekend to celebrate her win. Ramai betul family and friends datang. Plus familiar faces from the show as well (even tho i only watched like, err, one episode hahahaha). Another contestant pun a friend of mine, an ex-colleague.

But i was just happy to have a reunion with both my Convent Muar friend (the abovementioned one) and some peeps from MRSM as well (who went to the same medical school as the former).

A little disappointed that the main dishes were catered, but we were assured the desserts were made by the Masterchef herself! ;)
